Ooooh.... Quake 3 Arena on iPod Touches for network play

This could be the birth of a whole new type of LAN party... I still remember lugging my old beige box over to my friends house for Doom 2 and eventually Duke 3D LAN parties.

Looks like Engadget got to play with one

I wonder if this is just a one off unit that was sent to Engadet on purpose so it could be sent around the blogosphere.

Shrug.

In it's current state, I wouldn't buy one. There are few reasons you get a Mac, one of which is you get beautiful hardware... this is far from it.
